Dear Tea,

First, I loved your photo and every word of your post yesterday. You are an extremely talented maternity/portrait photographer.

We had a spectacular day at Lake Crescent with my brother and his wife today. We went swimming, boating, hiking, and picnicking. We topped off the day with a greasy dinner and soft serve ice cream at Grannie's Cafe off of Hwy 101. I've said it before, but I have to say it one more time: I can't believe I live here! And, how superb to share it with Elliot and Carol. I'm so glad they are here.

Uncle Elliot gets an award for overall cheerfulness, playfulness, and generosity, and Auntie Carol gets an award for singing the best darn songs for children I've ever heard for 45 minutes while pregnant and squished like a sardine in the backseat of the car (in order to keep Sage awake so he'd go to bed right when we got home).

Sincerely,
Boots
